Why Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Canada

We at Contributees are proud to donate to the Big Brothers and Sisters of Canada.

This organization offers the community, children and adults a program which nurtures growth, encouragement and support.

BBBSC's website states "Every $1 invested in our programming returns between $18-$23 to society through taxes, higher incomes, volunteerism, and charitable donations."

Charity Intelligence Canada has awarded this charity a 4 out of 5 star rating. They also calculated that 78 cents of every dollar donated, after overhead, fundraising and admin management has been paid, goes to programming.

There are many reasons why children benefit from having a mentor in their lives. A Big Brother / Big Sister can provide:

- Support and guidance to overcoming societal barriers and adversity

- Encouragement to reach a higher potential

- Motivation to contribute to their own communities

- Confidence to face life's challenges

These are all major building blocks to help children build a solid foundation for themselves and their communities.
